19 September 2016: Buy Berlin, Fifth Element and Engel & Volkers have announced that they will be hosting a Berlin educational property seminar on 18 October at The Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong.
Jonathan Benarr of Hong Kong real estate consultancy Fifth Element and speaker at the event says “Berlin is now a critical location for property investors but for many in Hong Kong, the German capital is a new market which raises a number of questions – which locations are best, what is the investment process, is finance available, what are the taxes associated with property investment and how does the rental market work?”
The Berlin Seminar features a panel of five speakers who will explain how the German property market operates and what Hong Kong investors should know before investing into Berlin.

With low interest rates and average price increases of over 10% per annum since 2014, Berlin is generating a buzz. “The future looks positive for Berlin investors due to a number of key economic principles – a growing population, a strong education sector, new infrastructure and more jobs on the back of expanding industries,” explains Benarr.
The seminar will also feature two independent speakers from Berlin – Angela Haupt from MRAG Projekt who specialises in all aspects of commercial real estate investment and Oleg Schneider who provides tax and administrative services to overseas real estate investors. Ms Haupt and Mr Schneider will join the panel and be available for questions at the end of the seminar.
